We are thrilled to announce that Michael Lo Sordo has officially taken home the Qantas Spirit of Youth (SOYA) fashion award joining the likes of Romance was Born, Friedrich Gray, Antipodium and Dion Lee.
Having watched Michael grow since his debut at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in 2008, it was huge honor to be able support him in this years SOYA award and watch him take home the prize!
2012 was already set to be a huge year for Michael, who will be heading off to New York as part of the G’day USA program at the end of the month and now he has his sites on London, thanks to SOYA.
Michael could not be more deserving of this award, remembering his immense contagious excitement from backstage at his first solo show in 2009, not a thing has changed, his passion and excitement for the future is as strong as ever and we look forward to seeing plenty more if it.
