+ESTATEofMIND held their summer launch event on the 6th of October, in collaboration with menswear designer Orri Henrisson and design studio Verse, who transformed the +ESTATEofMIND Crown St. windows as part of Art & About Festival.
The evening saw Sydney’s tastemakers sip on designer cocktails from event sponsor St. Germain and enjoy gourmet canapés from entrée to dessert.
Colourful new season arrivals from Michael Lo Sordo, Flowers For A Vagabond, AVE, Justine Davis, Moss by Mia and acclaimed design graduate Emma Mulholland, lined the +ESTATEofMIND racks, setting the scene for summer style with a point of individual difference.
The window installation by Orri Henrisson and Verse, transformed the store windows into an experiential installation; fabric was used to construct a 3D structure with imagery and light playing on the transparency.
The installation examines the close relationship between architecture and fashion, creating a powerful, glowing graphic of layered textures.
Owner and founder of +ESTATEofMIND, Sylvie Cornu, frequently features local and international artists in her window space and often calls on the designers stocked in +ESTATEofMIND to experiment with their creativity in the space.
St Germain the premium sponsor of the event was also a key influence, pairing a unique product with equally creative imagery.
The installation will be in the +ESTATEofMIND windows for the duration of Art & About this month.
